X-CLARITY Tissue Clearing System:

The X-CLARITY™ Tissue Clearing System (Logos Biosystems) automates the CLARITY method, using electrophoretic tissue clearing (ETC) to remove lipids from fixed tissue-hydrogel hybrids. The process involves fixing tissues (4% PFA), hydrogel embedding/polymerization (37°C for 3-4 hours), and ETC (typically 60V / 1.2A / 37°C). Key steps include using ETC solution at 37°C for 10-24 hours and final RI matching with Mounting Solution.
