How to select lysing kits for your homogenization samples

Pick a right lysing kit will help your sample preparation, in saving homogenization time, increasing homogenization efficiency for more consistent yiled.

Tough Tissue samples: skin, cornea, hair and such, will require stronger homogenization forces to break up the tissue pieces and grind them down to micro meter level particles for next step of processing. Use a lysing kit with stainless steel large balls and smaller irregular shaped stainless steel beads. WI-HT01

Soft Tissue Samples: Liver, brain, muscles and such. Use small sized ceramic beads will be sufficient to grind the samples to small particles quickly without generating too much heat. FM-TAB100

Mixed Tissue Samples: Lung, tender, leaf and small branch and such. Samples require sufficient homogenization forces. Use FM-TAB200
