Count Cell Nuclei Particles with Luna FL Automated Cell Counter

Accurate counts is critical for many applications for isolated nuclei samples. Especially to make sure no cell debris or intact cells are counted as nuclei.

Luna FL has bright field and fluorescent counting module. Use fluorescent module with AO/PI dye will get accurate counts. Nuclei particles will be stained by PI as red dots, while intact cells should be stained by AO as green dots.

Use other staining dye, such as Ethidium homodimer dye, or other excitation/emission matching dyes will produce reliable results. A quick calibration with the dye and working concentration will be ideal to have the counting software set at the best working condition.
